worked with the Owners on this project, to enlarge and

update their kitchen and completely remodel the existing

first floor.

BATHROOM ADDITION

Rancho Santa Fe

A nice house located in the beautiful Rancho Santa Fe area of San Diego, with a big rear yard that opens up to an exclusive golf course.
Starting with a few sketches, which later evolved into multiple design options, the final solution covered the Owner's "wish list", in terms of function, aesthetics and budget.
Natural stone cladding and trims, light-weight clay tile, copper gutters, and new stucco with a Santa Barbara finish, add richness and character to this homey residence.

Pacific Beach

With a mid-century modern vibe, our Clients wanted to open-up the enclosed kitchen and create a vaulted ceiling that would bring the space together, with a light, spacious and bright atmosphere.

INTERIOR REMODEL + KITCHEN ADDITION

Bird Rock, La Jolla

An old and charming beach cottage in La Jolla Bird Rock gets a much-needed interior update and new master bedroom wing with a spacious ensuite bathroom and walk-in-closet.

REMODEL AND ADDITION

Rancho Santa Fe

Creating an indoor-outdoor space was the driving idea behind this entire project. Benefiting of the year-long warm weather in southern California, the Owners wanted to extend and update an existing outdoor terrace, and completely re-organizing the interior space and its functionality.

The main entry was slightly shifted, and the 7'- 8' ceilings opened to a new vaulted space, that continues to the outside open terrace. To make this a seamless transition, a sliding door system was used, with pockets on each side, for a complete open space that is revealing from the moment you enter the home.

ACCESSORY DWELLING UNIT + ADDITION

Encinitas

Our clients wanted to add an Accessory Dwelling unit over the existing garage, and enlarge the family room within the side yard, to create a more useful courtyard and take advantage of the abundance of natural daylight.

I was tasked with my client's wish of creating an entirely new level above the garage, where there was none before. After designing the blueprint in collaboration with the owners, I then worked together with City Hall and structural engineers to turn my client's dreams into a reality.

This exciting project is still under construction, and I will upload new pictures as progress is made!
